Tutorials

These tutorials provide practical, step-by-step introductions to widely used computational materials science software. Each tutorial is designed to help beginners understand not only which commands to run, but also why each step is needed, how to check the results, and how to recognize and solve common problems.

Need a Custom Tutorial?

Would you like a similar step-by-step tutorial for another scientific software package, computational method, or workflow?

Delta Science develops customized tutorials in scientific and computational areas aligned with the Institute’s expertise, including computational physics, chemistry, materials science, scientific programming, and AI-assisted scientific computing.

Tutorials can be created for universities, research groups, scientific organizations, and companies. They may include detailed explanations, practical examples, interactive educational notebooks that allow users to adjust parameters and immediately visualize the results, as well as complete computational workflows tailored to a specific research or training objective.

Commissioned tutorials may be developed either for public release or exclusively for internal use within your organization.

Commissioned tutorials are developed on a fee-for-service basis. Ideas for future publicly available tutorials may also be submitted; however, only a limited number of topics are selected based on the Institute’s research and educational priorities.

To discuss a commissioned project or suggest a topic for a future public tutorial, please send a brief description of the software, method, intended audience, and desired learning objectives to info@dsedu.org.
